Questions
Do you supply the tile, or install only?
Both. We can source and supply the tile and stone for your project, or install materials you have already selected with your designer or at a showroom. Either way, we advise on formats, quantities and setting materials before anything is ordered.
What areas do you serve?
The Denver metro area and the Front Range, plus mountain homes in Summit County and Eagle County. If your project is elsewhere in Colorado, ask. We travel for the right project.
How much does high-end tile work cost?
Every project is priced after a site visit, because size, tile format, layout and prep change the number. As a guide, our tile installation work typically falls in these ranges, with tile and stone priced separately:
- Custom walk-in shower$7,500 to $15,000
- Curbless or steam shower, large format or natural stone$12,000 to $25,000+
- Primary bath, floors, walls and shower$20,000 to $45,000+
- Fireplace surround, floor to ceiling$4,000 to $15,000
- Full-height kitchen backsplash$2,500 to $8,000
- Exterior terraces and pool decks$25 to $50 per sq ft
Mountain projects in Summit and Eagle counties typically run higher for travel and access.
Is large-format porcelain or natural marble better for a shower?
Large-format porcelain gives the look of marble with almost no water absorption, fewer grout lines and very little maintenance. Natural marble has depth no print can match, but it is softer, etches with acidic cleaners and needs periodic sealing.
Why does waterproofing matter so much?
Tile and grout are not waterproof on their own. A continuous membrane under the tile keeps water out of the walls and framing. Most failed showers fail behind the tile, not on its surface.
Do you work with designers and builders?
Yes. We review drawings and selections early, so layout questions are solved on paper instead of on the wall.
